RFi CD34-71-53 UHF CB (477 MHz) Mopole™ Antenna - MBC Mount (4 dBi)
The CD34 antenna is an end-fed dipole (1/2 wave) with a tuned circuit incorporated in the base and a fully moulded radiating element. The end result is a tremendously rugged antenna suited for almost any application.
The antenna is available in a stud mounted version or MBC base with removable whip. Both are supplied with 5 metres RG58 C/U cable & factory terminated with a FME female connector for ease of installation. Also included is a FME male to UHF male adaptor for connection to all UHF CB radios.

This antenna is extremely robust in design with the patented PCB designed radiating element housed in a black or white (CD5000 W) fibreglass radome fitted to an integral heavy duty electro-polished stainless steel spring.
With a 13mm stud mount and ground plane independent design, this antenna may be installed onto a number of mounting brackets such as mirror, bull bar, gutter or fender mounts and are ideal for installations in commercial vehicles, four wheel drives and trucks. RFI CD51-65-70 UHF Ground Independent Mopole 380 - 440 MHz - Threaded Stud
When the CD50-65-70 gets mounted on a vehicle gutter or similar position, these UHF MopolesTM provide optimum performance with a largely omnidirectional pattern. Due to the low angle of radiation inherent in the dipole antenna pattern, a 4.0 dB improvement in performance is typical when compared to a 3 wave whip in the centre of a metal roof.
The end fed design of the UHF MopolesTM incorporates a truly unique transformer in the base section. In this patented feed assembly, the dielectric of the coaxial feeder cable is trimmed to a set length and then introduced into the coil in termination. The result is a precisely matched feed which is so consistent that tuning to frequency from a chart becomes a matter of course.
CD51 antennas are fitted with a flexible nylon radome over a copper element - ideal in industrial applications.
There are two styles of mounting arrangements offered. The CD50-xx-70 and CD51-xx-70 versions mount via a threaded stud and nut assembly. The antenna can be easily terminated, tuned and re-terminated in the field using the instructions supplied. Its patented design allows the coaxial cable to be replaced in the field without specialised tools or soldering.
The CD50-xx-50 and CD51-xx-50 versions mate with the MBC coaxial base providing an internal, permanent connection in a completely sealed unit. The MBC base is easy to install and allows the entire antenna to be removed and replaced at will.

The evolution continues with the release of the CD7195 4G LTE cellular mobile antenna. In response to the lightning fast roll-out of Telstra 4GX and Optus 4G+ services nation wide, Telco approached RFI to design a vehicle mounted antenna capable of operating on the new 700MHz LTE network. Part of the challenge was also to improve gain on regular 1800MHz 4G services, and provide some operation on the new 2600MHz network to ensure the antenna would remain futureproof for Cat-11 LTE devices capable of providing 450-600Mbps by aggregating 700+1800+2600MHz bands together.
The secret to it’s outstanding performance lies in the use of the patented Meander™ radiating elements. These Meander™ circuits are coupled together to deliver extraordinary consistency in gain, coverage pattern and bandwidth. The result is a unique antenna able to operate across all mobile phone networks globally, housed in the one unit.
The CD7195 provides an impressive 6.5dBi gain on lower bands such as 3G, Next-G, and 4GX, as well as a modest 4.5dBi gain on regular 4G bands. It's important to note this antenna does not provide MIMO, if you require the best possible Internet performance you should use two antennas, separated by around 300mm.
